The pilot service
Fairway Social is an early-stage club operations service for social golf clubs. The current product supports recorded Stableford and Stroke events. Pilot features may change, be corrected or be unavailable while the service is improved. Organisers are responsible for checking course, member, score and event information before relying on it.
Organiser authority and member data
The organiser represents that they are authorised by their club to create the clubhouse, add members, manage member information and issue access links. The organiser must only enter information they are entitled to use, respond to member requests, and remove access when it should no longer be available.
Club-use handicaps only
Handicap and differential calculations are for the club's internal social competition. Fairway Social is not an official Golf Australia handicap submission service, does not update an official Golf Australia handicap, and should not be represented as doing so. Official handicap records and competition requirements remain the responsibility of the player, club and relevant golf authority.
Access and acceptable use
Share links, organiser PINs and event scorer codes must be handled carefully. Users must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, upload unlawful material, or use member information outside legitimate club operations. Organisers should export important records and retain their own source scorecards during the pilot.
Founding-club billing
Fairway Social costs A$200 per club for a 12-month service period, paid annually in advance. There is no monthly option and no per-player charge. Activation and invoicing are handled manually. No plan change or payment is completed inside this app.
Before payment, the organiser will receive the service dates, payment method and a written scope for any separately agreed setup, data-cleaning or history-import work. Complex migration work is not included in the A$200 annual subscription unless confirmed in writing.
An organiser may cancel a founding-club renewal by using Support before the next manually agreed service period. Refund requests are assessed manually under the agreed pilot offer and the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any promised discretionary refund terms will be confirmed in writing before payment.
Founding-player billing
Player Passport is the individual product and may be used without joining a club. A player may link matching roster profiles from multiple clubs; this does not grant club authority. Associating a private round only labels it inside Passport and does not enter a club competition, publish a card, award points, disclose its private notes/GPS or make it appear in normal club API/UI. Fairway Plus is a separate A$49 individual 12-month founding pilot service and does not create a per-player charge for the club. There is no public checkout; activation, expiry and invoicing are handled manually.
Free players retain their personal profile, links, raw rounds, courses, holes, shots, bag and handicap records plus export, deletion and unlink controls. Plus gates computed strokes gained, GPS-derived club averages and dispersion, and advanced performance trends, recommendations and course splits. Expiry locks those computed responses without deleting the inputs. Analytics are informational, depend on the sample shown, and are not professional coaching, an official handicap service or a guarantee of improved scores.
Foreground browser GPS can show distances in metres and capture shot positions only after explicit permission while the page is open; automatic background shot detection is not provided and continuous location samples are not stored. Manual coordinates remain available. Strokes gained is calculated only from complete captured shot states against the named embedded reference.
Player export and deletion
A signed-in player may export personal Passport JSON, delete scoped personal records, unlink a club profile, or delete the Passport account with typed confirmation. Deleting a bag club clears its reference from existing shots, and deleting a personal course clears its reference from rounds. Unlinking or deleting Passport never deletes club-owned roster, competition, score or history records. Account deletion does remove the player's email identity, sessions/tokens, personal records, entitlement history and any named account-based club role. Export files contain personal information and should be stored carefully.
Availability and responsibility
Fairway Social will use reasonable care in operating the pilot, but does not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the service is not responsible for decisions made from unchecked or incorrectly entered club data. These terms do not limit non-excludable Australian consumer guarantees.
Support and changes
Members should direct questions and data requests to their club organiser. Organisers should raise support, cancellation and data requests through their existing private pilot channel. No public email address or support form is offered by this page.
Effective 2 August 2026.
